Downward Dog
Downward Dog
“ Badri Valian “ during her exhibition at Art Venture Gallery had several talks about the 3 different visual tools on her art....The tools which guided her to move forward:
First *The process of her painting over a single day and its limits and advantages
Second *The specific physical movements which she had hassled to make her body exhausted , influenced , broken and creative .
Third *The memories , the significant memories which she is been dealing with those over the many years .
In "Downward Dog" she is challenging herself while she is been balancing on "Ashtanga" and "Vinyasa" poses.
Her experience as a professional mountain climber in Himalaya moves her to peacefulness and gratitude.... She remembers witnessing a lot of mountain people in Himalaya who they live in peace with the minimum amount of food and belonging properties , almost nothing ... She is detecting that happiness and peace on this performance .
Sounds on the below video have been recorded by her camera in Everest B.C ...
