There are always stories behind my paintings .

in many religions there are a lot of interoperation of heaven ,about how does it look like and how much the people are happy living there, swimming in the rivers ,filled up with milk and honey and how angeles entertain heaven residents with pleassure which all reminds me “ Victoria Secret “ super models in fashion show . .

When I was a kid , my father's aunt , Fatemeh , was telling me a lot of religious stories after her evening pray when she was staying in our house once a month or every other month . Her voice sounded pleasant , delicate and confident of what she believed .

Heaven was her favorite subject to talk about . Her full imaginary description illustrated beautiful images and cultivated figures of Victoria secret angels in my mind who they were '“ kind , good looking , sexy and helpful.” Which I have doubt about it .

This painting is totally abstracted evil figures in purple conflicting with some creamy color, or maybe milk and honey color angels who they are melting off like an ice cream to disappear to be nothing as they were been nothing since beginning . This painting is purely anti aunt Fatemeh’s philosophy within all the respect to her.

This painting is dedicated to aunt Fatemeh for being such an awesome and unique story teller . She was on her 80s when she started telling me stories .

This painting is collected by one of my favorite art collector in San Francisco Bay Area. She is Lebanese -American and always tells me " I m a big fan of your artworks .". Whenever she comes to buy some pieces , she dress up like if she is in Sotheby’s auction .
